Our Program

The Nebraska Academic Decathlon promotes academic growth, teamwork, and communication skills among students of all achievement levels through statewide academic competitions.

More than 40 schools from across the state of Nebraska participate in the regional and state competitions.

We’ll be kicking off the Academic Decathlon season with the first scrimmage of the year at Pius X in Lincoln on Saturday, Nov 4. Please complete the registration form for your team and send it Dr. John Kyndt (jkyndt@bellevue.edu) and Alex Hain (Alex.Hain@piusx.net) who is the new Pius X coach. The deadline to register for the Pius X scrimmage is Friday, Oct 20th, 2017

ACADEMIC DECATHLON • An estimated 500 students from 50 high schools participated in Academic Decathlon scrimmages, regional, and state competitions administered by Optimists across the state.
