NEBRASKA ACADEMIC DECATHLON TEST SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

Participants in the Nebraska Academic Decathlon Program take tests in ten area -- art, economics,

essay, interview, language & literature, mathematics, music, science, social science and speech. You – as an individual, company, trust, organization, foundation, or service club – may sponsor one of these tests. Sponsors are recognized in several ways:

  • You will be named on each test cover page.
  • Your banner will be displayed at each Regional and at the State Final.
  • You will be formally recognized in the official program.
  • The master of ceremony will announce your sponsorship at all Award Ceremonies.

• You or your representative may present the medals to student winners in your test area. You may sponsor a test by contributing $5,000 annually or by endowing the test with a one-time payment of $75,000. Since the Nebraska Academic Decathlon Foundation, Inc. holds a 501(c)(3) tax status, all donations are tax deductible. Since it is a Nebraska Foundation, you may qualify for

Nebraska Income Tax Credits under the EndowNebraska Tax Incentive Program. See your tax advisor for details. The sponsorship status of each test is as follows:

  • Mathematics ~ Northrop Grumman Corporation
  • Music ~ Robert and Bertha Hellmann Trust (ENDOWED)
  • Science ~ Dr. C.C. & Mabel Criss Memorial Foundation
  • Language and Literature ~ Herb Lavigne Enterprises
  • Social Science ~ James Semerad Foundation
