DUE:  The COMPLETE CERTIFICATION PACKET.  THE DATA PACKET MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE NEAD

CERTIFICATION OFFICIAL ON OR BEFORE THIS DATE.  SUBMIT VIA THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE.

For an Honor student with a grade of A in all acceptable courses, an NEAD Eligibility Worksheet is NOT REQUIRED

BE SURE TO INCLUDE FOR EACH STUDENT (excepting the Honor Student item noted above):

• ___ A COMPLETED ELIGIBILITY WORKSHEET,
• ___ A COPY OF THE STUDENT REGISTRATION FORM,
• ___ A COPY OF THE STUDENT’S TRANSCRIPT.

(NOTE:  For a current 9^th Grade student, submit only the Grade 8 transcript (plus any summer session between 8^th and 9^th grades).  For Grade 10 through 12 students, TWO full years of past grades will be required. You will receive notifications regarding this.

ATTENTION!!  Consult USAD calculation guidelines. Go to www.usad.org and click on the “Coaches” tab.

Although a school can have as many students involved in its Academic Decathlon Program as desired, we will complete the certification of 18 students or fewer.

THE NAMES OF YOUR 6 REGULAR TEAM MEMBERS AND ALTERNATE TEAM MEMBERS (if any) for the Regional MUST BE SUBMITTED.

Each school team advancing to the State Final will COMPLETE THE ESSAY TEST ONLINE in its computer lab. DATE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

Multiple Choice tests on Feb. 14. Speech, Interview, two Multiple Choice tests, and an Exhibition Super Quiz Event  Feb. 15.

MAY 1–MAY 3

NATIONAL FINAL IN DES MOINES, IA. 

Our State Champion will represent Nebraska at this event.  If USAD follows its current plans, the top-scoring School in each School Division (if this school is not the State Champion) will represent Nebraska in the corresponding division of the Online National Final.
